General Operative
Comer Group Ireland, one of Ireland's largest private landlords, are seeking a Full Time General Operative to join our Kildare and Wicklow Region Maintenance Team.
This role requires movement to work across multiple residential and commercial blocks, completing maintenance works in multiple properties.
Responsibilities:
Continuous communication and interaction with the Group Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team
Identify and report preventative maintenance issues to the Group Maintenance Manager
Inspecting and testing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
To respond to and attend all building related safety concerns
Maintain compliance with all company building and maintenance standards
Regular communication with Property Managers to ensure all maintenance issues logged are resolved in a timely, efficient and safe manner
Troubleshooting and resolving utilities systems issues
Assist in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
Preparing cost estimates
To respond to emergency situations and call outs when necessary
To travel between sites and locations in the relevant assigned region
Experience Required
Industrial or Commercial experience
Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent organisational skills
Fast learner and ability to work on own initiative
Excellent attention to detail
Flexibility
Full Clean Drivers Licence
